Anya Wylde lives in Ireland along with her husband, two adorable sons and a fat French poodle (now on a diet). She can cook a mean curry, and her idea of exercise is occasionally stretching her toes. She holds a degree in English literature and adores reading and writing.
Anya decided to write when Ireland went into recession and all jobs went kaput. She read voraciously for three months while wondering what to do with her life. Then one night, she had a mad vivid dream that made her laugh.
She wrote the dream down and it became a book. An awful book, but still, it was a full-length novel which she promptly buried in her back garden. Her next attempt was better and the third became a bestseller. She hasn’t stopped writing since then.
The wonderful emails she gets every week encourages her to wake up and write almost every day. Her only aim is to make people smile, and if a silly bit in her book makes someone chuckle, then she considers her job done.
She does not take herself too seriously and her books reflect her personality; Chapters filled with light-hearted fun and lots of love.
